Death is an inevitable part of life, which has been mostly ignored for far too long. Now, in this book, author Mike Agostini informs readers about all of the essential aspects about death, dying, and what actually happens after that. Told through the stories of people who have either actually died or had experiences with others who have died, mostly Australians but also many famous names in world history. What happens when we die is something that has always haunted humanity. Is death the end? Or is there a form of existence, thus life of some kind, after death? In this book author Mike Agostini relates stories, anecdotes and incidents in the lives of many different individuals, including some prominent Australians. "Dr Victor Chang communicated with me the day after his death" Mike Agostini writes about the late, great and still lamented surgeon in his book. Others whom he has known and spoken to about their experiences include Olympic Golden Girls Betty Cuthbert and Marjorie Jackson, former NSW Chief Justice Sir Laurence Street, former Federal Government Minister and Liberal Party leader Tony Staley, tennis great John Newcombe, and many more, mostly ordinary Australians. The book also delves into the history of such experiences, going back to the great Greek philosophers Pythagoras and Plato, plus many modern men and women who were - and some still are - well known.
