Just got back from New York and found this book waiting for me. Thanks very much!

Shuddering. Caught between a wrenching sympathy and a wracking revulsion. Feel incredible gratitude for my life, my country, my freedom. It was hard, while reading this, to remember that these are real people. It reads like fiction and just made me heartsick to know this situation in Afghanistan and these people are completely real. Also felt a wallop of fear. I'm sending this on to my son who may go on active duty in Afghanistan next year, G-d protect him.
