The book showed a lot of promise so I was eager to read it. And in fact, this story of a young man's journey to find himself through the danger and passion of flamenco was indeed an engaging read. I learned a lot about flamenco and got ideas for albums to seek out. I wasn't entirely pleased with the ending, but since endings are endings, I'll just stop there. Overall, however, a good read. Quite well written, too.

Got this book in our mystery gift swap at our Bookcrossing Christmas Party last night. I spent a couple of years studying Spanish recently, and watched several films about flamenco as part of that, so I was excited to see this book in my parcel. Looking forward to reading it!

Just as fascinating as it promised to be (although I agree with UngentleReader about the ending - it just sort of stops, really). And it's made me even more excited about my visit to Spain in April! (This book might just have to travel there with me...)

After time looking for a book to join in this bookcrossing world, I've find today this in Bilbao!Looking forward to read it, I hope it will be as good as you coment, I wish I dont have too many problems to read it ,as I'm basque. I like flamencos world so I will start with it now!!
