A couple weeks ago, my husband forgot to take his book on his business travel, so he purchased this one. He read it quite quickly, and enjoyed it, however, I have a copy on Mt. TBR. So, this one can join the free books!!

A very thought provoking book indeed. How appropriate that I record this entry on Mothers Day as it really is a story about a strong, loving and influential mother and her effect on the lives of her children and those around her.

An amazing story, offering glimpses into so many different worlds, and the difficult task of weaving a path between them. Ruth really was an incredible woman.

Although 10yrs since publication a fascinating insight into two very different cultures and the tension for a boy growing up in the middle.
