I thought this book was enlightening and funny and even a little bit sad in spots. I'm even envious of Gilbert for even being able to head out on this kind of a journey. Well written and well explained I'll highly recommend to this to everyone.

Interesting book about the end of a marriage & the resulting turmoil. This is presented in three parts: Eat (eat your way through Italy, drowning your sorrows & gaining quite a few pounds in the process), Pray (join an remote Ashram in India, get up at 3 A.M., chant & scrub floors & eat a lot less), Love (find love & peace at last in Bali). I think the appeal of this book lies in the hearts of divorced women everywhere, who would have loved to take off a year from work & lived this life after a divorce (probably minus the India part).

This is a larger sized soft-cover that has some wrinkled pages in the first few chapters, after being left out in a brief rain shower, but still extremely readable! Available for trade.
