Journal Entry 1 by garibaldisghost from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire United Kingdom on Saturday, December 08, 2007

This is a portrait of a woman forced to confront her own inevitable loneliness and despair. To be honest it's a bit of a disappointment and I only read it as it's on the 1001 books to read before you die list

Well, the book wasn't certainly happy one, but I think it gave a very good picture of a woman who is suffering a lot and feeling that she has nothing left in her life. Very well written and interesting book.
