Journal Entry 1 by Red-Kite from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire United Kingdom on Saturday, December 8, 2007
An interesting tale of a philanthropic gesture which goes a little astray. Based on the concept of the grand memorial folly of the Victorian era, with a side serving of an environmental catastrophe theme, and a touch of Robinson Crusoe.
Written probably in the 1960s, this poses some interesting points about the consequences of how we are treating the world today. Quite a good yarn too!
