This is for my NSSFC partner - it's on her wish list. It looked so good I bought a copy for myself too. Hope you enjoy it.
I woke up really early this morning so I read this whilst I was waiting for my mum to come round. I really enjoyed it and was intrigued by the story. I haven't given it a ten out of ten though as it just hasn't got that air of menace that 'The Woman in Black' has (actually, I must dig that out and read that again over Christmas). A good read though and I am sure I won't have any trouble finding another Bookcrosser to pass this on to!

Arrived this morning, thanks Pennywhistler. What a cute looking book. It's been ages since I've read a ghost story and I like the way Susan Hill writes so I'm looking forward to this one.

I agree with everything pennywhistler has written, great read but not as menacing as some ghost stories I've read. Perfect book for a quiet Sunday afternoon I think. And I'll have to keep an eye out for "The Woman in Black".
