Synopsis

Pollyanna had just lost her father when she went to live with her Aunt Polly at Beldingsville, but she had learned from him before his death how to find something to be glad about even in the face of the greatest sorrows. This was the "glad" game - the game that she was to teach to so many friends in Beldingsville, the game that was to change the course of Aunt Polly's life and bring her to a warm understanding of Pollyanna's lovable qualities.

This was another of my favourites as a child. Well worth giving to your kids to read.
