I found this today at Half Priced Books. I am looking forward to reading it. I guess it is really meant to take in the bath since the pages are waterproof. I haven't seen that before except with baby books though this isn't textured like those.

Some of theses stories were just so-so, but most were pretty good. I especially liked the final stories and the one about the fisherman best.

6 out of 10

First of all, I loved that this book was waterproof - I think they should make more books this way! As for the stories, some were good and some were not-so, but it was a good mix of styles and subjects - I liked "Naked Woman Playing Chopin," "Minarets," and "The Little Mermaid" best because they were imaginative and different.

Thanks again for the trade!

Definitely quite a range. My favorites were "New House", "Hydrodynamica" and "Fisherman's Friend".
