Round Ireland with a Fridge
7 journalers for this copy...
Another one of those books that I enjoyed too much to trust to a wild release. I'm willing to trade this for a book that made you laugh out loud. PM me and we'll work something out.
This book is heading to Alabama as a Happy New Year/Happy Birthday RABCK. Enjoy, FancyHorse!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Happy New Year! Happy Birthday!
Happy New Year! Happy Birthday!
I just received this book in the mail from KrazyKatLaydee. Thank you very much! We were out of town, and I don't know how long this book was at the PO waiting for me. I'm looking forward to reading it!
I just finished this book yesterday, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! It was a true, and humourous account of the author's adventures as he hitchhiked around the perimeter of Ireland with a small refrigerator. I laughed out loud as I read almost every page!
Hubby's going to read it, and then I think I will start a ring or ray. A book about a traveling fridge needs to travel, too!
Editing to add, Let's make it a ray! See where it goes. I've already read it; I don't need it back.

FancyHorse thought I would like this, and I am liking it so far! She shook the bed laughing at it every night, so I'm looking forward to the funny parts.
I'm going to offer this as a RABCK to an Irish bookcrosser, so it can begin another journey "back home."

I had heard a lot about this book and was keeping an eye out for a copy when fancyhorse offered it to me. Gave me a good few laughs reading it in bed for the last few nights. Very easy, pleasant humour.
I especially enjoyed it since having moved to Ireland last October I now know some of the destinations the fridge went to - the Triumphal Entry at the end into the ILAC centre particularly made me laugh - it's a funny little shopping centre I could just picture all the folks goggling at the man with the fridge.
Sending onwards in this informal 'ring' to Whirl.

Received this book today, yay! Looking forward to it!
I'll try and keep it going on a journey through Ireland once I've read it..
Edit: a very enjoyable book! There were a few slightly boring bits in it, but overall I very much enjoyed it. The OH has just finished reading it as well, one of the rare books where I heard him laughing out loud occasionally :-) Will try to send it on its way soon..

I gave this book to aetm today to take to Cork and hopefully she'll be able to find an appreciative new owner for the book :-) At least it's still traveling around Ireland!

I actually found a copy of the same book a few weeks ago, and after enjoying it talked about it at work - one of the guys working with me actually met the Fridge Man when he was in Cork! My copy then left towards Austin, then to Tacoma and hopefully back to somewhere Ireland - so will keep eyes open for the correct next reader for this one. Definitely for someone who I know will enjoy it, ideally somewhere on the route the fridge made too... (yep, it traveled from Dublin to Cork today) :)

Given to Microsquid to read next :)
This is a perfect, happy book that should visit all the places the Fridge Man has visited (last weekend in Cape Clear when I mentioned this book and that they had been in Cape Clear, they of course knew the exact B&B they had been to, and then remembered that two years ago there was an Australian who was traveling around Ireland with a stuffed Donkey... I wonder if they wrote a book too? And if so if it was as funny as this one)

Caught at the Cork meetup. Hope to release somewhere else on the isle!
A funny look at the country with a few laugh-out-loud moments :) Although I wonder how much of the neighbourliness he'd find if he went back in post-Celtic Tiger Ireland :S [That said, we are all still quite, quite mad] I'll pass it on the next around Ireland trip I get
