This book was so much fun, I read it in one plane trip! I loved the "human" characters and their interactions with the Merrie Men in the game (and outside it!) and particularly their developing relationship with each other. The experiences of the Merrie Men out in the real world were hillarious! And I very much liked Robin Hood himself - the author makes him surprising real, flawed and sympathetic. There were a couple of unpleasant parts (trust me, you'll know 'em when you hit 'em) but for the most part this was a great stand-up-and-cheer adventure, lots of laughs along the way, and a great ride to the end. Thumbs up! Off up north to Freelunch.
