7 out of 10

Passing this to a colleague tomorrow. I have finished reading it a couple of weeks ago, and I have the review on my website, but the site is currently very messed up, hacked by some moron, so I'm gonna update this journal later. In short, I think it's a difficult book. The plot is great, but it can be far too slow at a few points. Watched the movie too, it was great. All in all, I don't think I have the energy for another McEwan's books for a very long time. I'm interested in On Chesil Beach though.
