Well, I thought this was a great read! And, I do so long to go to the original Booktown, Hay-on-Wye in Wales. I'm sure I can make some great finds there. I also want to read some of the books Paul Collins mentions - no listings for "Hunting Indians in a Taxi-cab" by Kate Sanborn at the moment at www.abebooks.com but I checked www.worldcat.org and there is a copy in a university library a few hours sea journey away on Vancouver's Island. Yahoo! Sidney on Vancouver's Island is Canada's only Booktown, since 1996: Sidney, B.C., Booktown

This is the third book I've found today. It does look very interesting. The things one finds when one attempts to do some de-cluttering.

Enjoyed this one. Maybe I'll visit here someday. There are some real gems in this book and such a sense of history.
