What a difference from the ShowTime series DEXTER. I really enjoy the show much more. I guess because there's more involved than blood and gore.... there are more developed relationships, and while they do a good job keeping Dexter very "inhuman" you can see him in the show being very human, and developing very "human" characteristics of caring.

Overall, I'm still not a big fan of this genre, I much prefer to fill my brain with details not nearly so gruesome, but will continue on with the next book, just because I feel like I have an obligation to do so, seeing that I watch the series so religiously.

This book is on it's way to Maryland as part of a trade... Another note to add to my previous entry... After reading Dexter in the Dark (3rd inthe series) I got the dose of human Dexter I was seeking.
