I was pleasantly surprised by this book and this concept. I was expecting the book, mostly from the title, to be about some crazy lady with a bunch of cats who starts getting pursued by one of her disgruntled felines. However, I was impressed with the depth of Gilman's writing. Although it was a tad cliché at times, the story had plenty of energy, and Mrs. P and Kadi were very well developed. The carnies were entertaining as well.

I found it at a local Panera's while I was waiting for a friend. I went to get a napkin after eating a delicious cinnamon roll, and I saw this book standing there. I was intrigued, so I opened it, read the note inside, and took it back to my table and started reading. I read for about fifteen minutes, and then my friend arrived. When I went to show her where I found it, there was another book lying there! Pretty spiffy.
