I enjoyed this book very much. I found myself sucked in yet felt like I was waiting for something to happen throughout most of the book. PMing the next person in line and will send along ASAP. EDIT: 11/14/07 - got an address and will be sending by the end of the week!

Journal Entry 4 by mustytomes from Chicago, Illinois USA on Sunday, November 25, 2007
Got it just before Thanksgiving - but I was too busy preparing turkey to journal right away ... Thanks! Will read when I'm done with Mules and Men. ETA 01/27/08: I am finally getting around to catching up on all my journal entries... Anyways, I thought this was a great book. Extremely well-written and engaging for a first effort. Since I'm from Chicago, I think that gave me added extra-dimension regarding the feel of the novel. I have actually been to most of the places and neighborhoods the author mentions in the novel. (One of them, Kopi, is even owned by a friend of my husband's.) As you can see below, Sapphyre received the book before I even got to journaling it mailed. Hope you like it as much as I did!

I enjoyed this book very much...the events are woven together very well with a minimum of confusion about dates and ages. I did like the way both points of view were used to fully explain situations and conversations. Very good.

Wonderful book! Had to finish the last few pages this morning before work. It's interesting, some people would say that they would like to travel back (or forth) in time, even if just once. Would they say the same thing after reading this book? Kinda gives a different perspective on the thought - even if this is only fiction. Will mail out to the next on the list as soon as I have an address.

I did not want to put this book down. When I first started reading it, I thought the jumping back and forth would be too much to follow, but that wasn't the case at all. PM the next in line a bit ago and never heard back from her, so I'm PMing Hfitz5051 next and will get this book on its way!
