H τετράδα οδεύει προς PinkManager, και θα επανέλθω εδώ σύντομα με τα σχόλιά μου.

Even though it is an old text (1960), and the most 'academic' in its scope, I found this book to be the more interesting of the set. Maybe because it answered some of the issues I have been preoccupied with, regarding the urban reality of Athens. The concepts of legibility and the value of empiricism over theory, in talking about a city & its architecture helps explain why, for example, Omonia square will always be a site of 'chaos', despite efforts to 'humanize' the location.

Μετά από αρκετό traveling το πακέτο επιτέλους παραδόθηκε στα χέρια της Pinkmanager στις 5-1-2008. Το είχα στείλει μέσω Ελ-Τα, και συστημένο για σιγουριά, η Pinkmanager ουδέποτε έλαβε ειδοποιητήριο, και τελικά μου επεστράφει την περασμένη εβδομάδα, χωρίς να γνωρίζω το λόγο.

Η Okyrhoe Μου είχε στείλει συστημένο το βιβλίο. Εμένα δε μου ήρθε ποτέ η ειδοποίηση για να το παραλάβω και της το επιστρέψανε σκισμένο και μουτζουρωμένο σε μια πλαστική σακουλίτσα. Ευτυχώς όλα είναι μέσα! Μου το έδωσε στη συνάντηση των Bookcrossers στο Ethnique προς τιμήν της nona35 το Σάββατο!

This book seems to me difficult to read in the beginning, because I haven't been to any of the cities included in it. But the author made it quite interesting to read. What really drew me to read the book was its introduction; such an optimistic view of the potential delight one can receive from a city environment...
