Journal Entry 1 by RubyBlueLady from Avebury, Wiltshire United Kingdom on Sunday, October 14, 2007
This is a paperback The world is going to end next Saturday, just before dinner, but it turns out there are a few problems--the Antichrist has been misplaced, the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse ride motorcycles, and the representatives from heaven and hell decide that they like the human race. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm afraid this book didn't do much for me, I didn't find it that funny (it says on the front cover that I will laugh out loud) either. I think I'm one of those rare people who don't 'get' Terry Pratchett, which is probably my loss. Hopefully the book will find more appreciative readers.

Journal Entry 4 by Iojima from Nyons, Rhône-Alpes France on Sunday, October 28, 2007
I read through about half and then skipped to the end. It *is* very clever, but it's the kind of relentless, wearing clever of undergraduate writing. Then, again, I don't really like comic novels and this comes more under that category than the satirical Pratchett I'm used to. Thanks, RubyBlueLady. It's going off to Teachie. (I'm sorry the kittens sat on the cover.)

Journal Entry 5 by teachie from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire United Kingdom on Saturday, November 10, 2007
Thanks for this Rubybluelady and Iojima. I was hoping this was going to be more Neil Gaiman than Terry Pratchett. Reading both of your reviews I think I may be disappointed.

Journal Entry 6 by teachie from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire United Kingdom on Sunday, December 30, 2007
I am afraid Terry Pratchett had a bigger hand in writing this than Neil Gaiman. This is on the wishlist of a birthday exchange participant. I hope they enjoy this book.
