Got my bookmooch journal today in the mail... and was dismayed to see it was smaller than I thought! Will my picture fit?
Ah, yes, perfect fit!
Ah, yes, perfect fit!
Recieved via Bookmooch. Now sending to Alicia in GA via Bookmooch.com.
FYI: When I received this journal, the package it was in was heavily damaged in route to me. The other 2 journals in the package seemed to fair well and show little to no damage. This one however had several pages loosly dangling from it and the entry that is pictured above by Melissa is totally missing. I didn't realize any of the artworks were missing until I came to post that I was sending the journal on. I am going to print out Melissa's picture and add it to the book. I guess there is no way of knowing if any of the other entries got lost or destroyed in the damage incident. It looked like a machine ate the packaging. One of the other journals has some black smudge marks across the cover that I am going to see if I can wipe/wash off. Sometimes I think the post office machines are possessed by the devil.

I mooched this journal again after reading that it got damaged in the mail. I feel really bad. :( Looks like that one entry of mine is missing along with an orange flower that I drew. The rest of the entries are there and intact, thank goodness! :) I am going to relist this on BookMooch now to send on to somebody else.
Can't wait to play with this one :) I've got a few journals ahead of it, but I should get to it soon!
So in addition to my usual fashion-ish sketch and marker job (man, when I think about my journal entries I am predictable) I included a couple of Japanese kogal models. It's a movement within Japanese fashion/youth culture wherein the girls tan themselves until their skin is practically orange, dye their hair blonde, and then use tons of make-up. Google-images 'ganguro' and you'll see more extreme examples then I had available to put in the journal.

What a cool journal! So many different, unique entries! I can't wait to make mine, and then it will be put back on BookMooch!
Received today and will be reposting on Bookmooch once I'm done!
It's so fun to see all the different creative styles in this journal. I wish I knew how to post pictures on here so I could share some of the entries! I'm posting this on bookmooch now and sending it on it's way...well wrapped so it doesn't get eaten by another post office machine.
