Several of King's stories are set in the fictional Maine town of Castle Rock. This is the last such story, as Castle Rock is destroyed in this book. The instrument of its destruction is a curiosity shop called Needful Things. At Needful Things, you can find anything you could possibly want. But you don't get what you brgained for, and the price is higher than you ever imagined. A frightening story that looks at the dark side of human nature, and how little it takes to bring it out.
This is a hardcover copy that I got from my uncle. It was one of sereval books he was giving away, so I took a few. This was the first Stephen King book I ever read, but not the last.

An excellent king novel. It was a great distraction while I was on the stairclimber. I am not sure where I plan to leave this, but a curio shop would be excellent
