Anansi Boys

I received this paperback book today in a trade arranged through sf-books.com. The book was sent to me by someone in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I really enjoyed the way Gaiman playfully brought the African folklore figure of Anansi to life in modern English characters. As the book turned more seriously into a conflict between Spider and Tiger, with intercession of Bird, the plot rolls on smoothly. I feel this must have been a difficult book to write, not the straight-forward conceptualization, but the maintainence of the those concepts through action and characterization. I highly recommend this book.
