Oryx and Crake

from amazon:
Pigs might not fly but they are strangely altered. So, for that matter, are wolves and racoons. A man, once named Jimmy, lives in a tree, wrapped in old bedsheets, now calls himself Snowman. The voice of Oryx, the woman he loved, teasingly haunts him. And the green-eyed Children of Crake are, for some reason, his responsibility.

Thank you so very much for putting aside a book from my wishlist for my enjoyment. I shall readit asap and pass it on.
Wow. Margaret Atwood is so good! Her dark, depressing tale of a future of quotidian genetic manipulation is impossible to put down. Warning: the ending is open!
Thanks a thousand lots for checking my wish list!
It will have to go into Mt TBR for a while, but I´ll be back for a comment as soon as I´ve read it.
