Having read 'Lucky You' I wanted to read another book by this author. It was a lovely feeling going into the Oxfam Bookshop in Horsham and finding this on the shelf.

From the back:
Joey Perrone is a woman with a mission. She's just been pushed overboard from a cruise liner by Chaz, her scumbag husband, and survived to tell the tale. But rather than reporting him to the police, she decides to stay dead and - with a little help from her friends and a few of Chaz's enemies - instead of getting mad, she's going to get even.

This book had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. I read the first couple of chapters one evening and then the following evening I finished the rest of it.

This is definitely my favourite book of the year so far!! I also think it may be one of the highest ratings that I’ve ever given too!

I’m definitely off to find more books by Hiassen, the two I’ve read have been thoroughly enjoyable.

given to me by my daughter who has read the book.
She bought it in a second hand shop and I intend to pass it on to a friend after reading.
