Kurt Vonnegut #54 on the author's list.
Kurt Vonnegut #54 on the author's list.
This came home in my Wish List Book Box. A collection of Vonnegut short stories. I am looking forward to this.
Vonnegut gave himself a B minus on this collection of short stories. I can't believe that I haven't read Vonnegut before. Interesting vision and humor. This group of short stories was written between 1950 and 1968 and is somewhat a time capsule of the concerns of that era. And don't miss the list of magazines that these stories first appeared in from Playboy to Ladies Home Journal. Vonnegut says these are samples of stories that he wrote to finance the writing of novels.
