Morrigan's Cross (The Circle Trilogy, Book 1)
12 journalers for this copy...
This is book one of The Circle Trilogy.
From inside cover:
"A battle is brewing between the forces of good and evil--a war that will be fought across the planes of time--as Lilith, the most powerful vampire in the world, gathers her dark minions around her.
The Goddess Morrigan rises up to stop her--and with her, a circle of six..."
I always love Nora Roberts, but I thought this series was especially good. It has time travel, shape shifting, vampires, and so much more! It's really incredible the way she brings all these things together and makes a story that is believable, something you can get lost in.
I'm going to offer this as a bookspiral.

Received this book along with book two today in the mail. I am working on another bookring book and will then start on these. Thank you for sharing!
I just finished reading this book this morning. I must say that I really liked it, believe it or not I have never read anything of Nora Roberts before and thought that the series might be too romancey for me. I am glad to say it wasn't and I can't wait to read the second and third book! Thank you for sharing Jenny, I will be sending this off to the next participant on Monday!

Received from Liz, starting on it tonight.
Edited 6-16-08: I am so sorry I still have this book, I know I am holding up the process. We have had a lot of family problems that leave me no time to read this spring. I am out of town; when I get home I will send this on to the next person and drop out of the group. Again, my apologies.
I received this in the mail today! I will send this to penelopewanders soon! :-)
Mailed to penelopewanders on July 7th to continue the book spiral!
This arrived safely while I was away - thanks so much. It arrived along with a few other rings, so I'll try to sort which ones will go most quickly and tackle those first. From experience, Nora Roberts will be a quick read. thanks so much for sending this spiral, I've enjoyed all the N. Roberts I've read so far and look forward to this one!
UPDATE August 18
I finished reading this this morning, and have PMed for the next address. At first I wasn't so enthusiastic about this, and was reminded of the few N. Roberts which I didn't like so much - Spellbound, and the Key Trilogy. But then the characters became more interesting and I found it more and more difficult to put down. I look forward to reading the next episode!

Excelent readig, but will soon make a better JE.
Sory for keeping the book fo so long...
This will travel to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Hope you like it.
Thank you.
Thank you JennyC1230 for letting me know that I did not journal this book when I recieved it. Which I did recieve a few weeks ago. I finished reading it last weekend and will return to her this week. I loved the book.
I work part-time in a bridal shop and I was helping a young man pick out a tux to rent for a winter formal. And he said one of the models in the book looked as tho he should be carrying a sword..and you know what? That model made I think of Hoyt and Cian in this book!! So the young man was right? He did look like he should be carrying a sword!!! Can't wait to read the next in the series!
I will journal again when I get it in the mail.
mailed out today..on it's way home
This book made it back home after a successful Book Ring! I hope that everyone enjoyed it. The other two books are coming!
I have another copy of this book in my PC, so this one is able to travel again!

This was a good read. Nora Roberts has put a little bit of everything in this one - witches and wizards, faeries (kind of) and shape shifters, vampires and humans. She skillfully brings them together to battle the evil vampire queen Lilith for control of all the worlds. There's romance and intrigue and just a well told story. I am definitely looking for the second book in this series. Thank you so much for your kind RABCK, Jenny!
