Journal Entry 2 by Kiptos from Singapore, n/a Singapore on Saturday, October 20, 2007
I don't usually like time travel, so I'm not sure why I got this book. Anyway, since I've got it, mustn't let it go to waste, so I read it. Hmm.., should have listen to my instincts. Predictable ending right from the beginning. The heroine is a 38 years old workaholic and her marriage is on the rocks since she refused to sacrifice her work. After her husband walked out, she listened to his inspirational tapes and drifted off to sleep, only to wake up 1 millenium earlier in Viking Era. And predictably she met this Viking who looks exactly like her husband and he was saddled by her since she's on his ship and his King told him to 'look after' her in case she's a spy sent by their enemies. The historical background is rather well researched, unfortunately, I just cannot stand it when men hit women, even when it's a common practise back then. At least, the heroine is no doormat (though it's hard to be one when she runs a successful business and is a workaholic)
