7 out of 10

I'm about half-way through this "classic" book. This is a must read in for many but I've never read it before. I hope to finish it soon and release it near Southwest Missouri State University.

****Update March 1, 2004****
I found this quite interesting. I wonder if Rand *really* needed 1074 pages to get her point across but I found that even if you aren't reading the "deeper" meaning of the book it is still engrossing. I continued to read so I could find out what happened. (I decided to let the intellectual meaning soak in without trying to over-analyze it.)

10 out of 10

It took me a while, but I'm glad I was able to get through this great book. When you examine the principles that Ayn Rand uses as the subject of this novel, I personally feel that she sends a good message that many can apply to their own lives. I understand that many do not agree with her philosophy, but these disagreements seems to mimic many of the philosophical/political debates that we find ourselves in these days.
