I picked this up at a book swap a couple of years ago. It was my first experience with Jane Austen, and she certainly lives up to the hype. It's difficult reading, but well worth it. Quite a few unexpected twists and turns, which make it a great story in itself. Of course, it takes place in the old world where the class system is rigidly in place. People in North America may have trouble understanding it.
