Happy Travels Little Book!
Happy Travels Little Book!
Arrived this weekend. I have couple books I have to read for classes this week, but I will try to get to it as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I actually liked this book a lot better than the first one, I thought it was funnier than the first one. I'm looking forward to renting the movies.
Thanks, I'll get it on its way as soon as possible.

I found this in my mailbox this afternoon - perfect reading material for this rainy Saturday. I meant to read Jane Austen's Persuasion before this arrived, as I hear this book is based upon that one, but I ran out of time. Oh well. I'll just have to read it after this one, I suppose.
I must agree with Goddess-of-Fire - I liked this book better than the first one. I actually giggled aloud while reading it, much to the amusement of my husband. I resisted reading this series for years (perhaps because of the movie hype and Renee Z in the titular role) and I really shouldn't have. I'm not exactly sure I look forward to renting the movies, but I do now want to see them just to see how they translated to the big screen. I finished this in a few hours - it made perfect reading for the holiday weekend. All in all, I enjoyed it enough that next time I want to read it I'll probably go buy a copy and add it to my personal collection.
I'll put this in the mail to liz-z as soon as I have an address.

Now that liz-z has received and finished the first book, I went by the post office this morning and sent this off via media mail.
Just received in the mail... I am going to put aside my non-bookring books and start on this one now. Looking forward to reading it!
I finished reading this last night. I have to agree that I enjoyed this one more that the first one. Laugh out loud funny at times and something for every single gal out there to relate to. I think I will be renting the movies just to see again after reading these two books. Thanks for sharing!
This will be off to flossie771 soon! I already have her addy so it should go out in the mail Monday or Tuesday.

Like other members said, it was better than the first Bridget Jones's Diary. It may because after finding a boyfriend and keep the relationship is much more interesting and complicated than before finding the one. There were several dialogs that made me feel to say "I know what you mean!" I love Bridget, I love Shazzer, and I love Jude. I love Bridget's mother although I am glad that my mother was not like her.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I am going to mail this book to rebeccaljames as RAY-IT-FORWARD. I hope she will enjoy reading it.
I am going to mail this book to rebeccaljames as RAY-IT-FORWARD. I hope she will enjoy reading it.
This is now a Ray-it-Forward for Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason by: Helen Fielding.
I’ll find the first person that wants this book and send it to them. I just ask that they pass the book along “BookRay” fashion when they are done with it.
If you have this book then please look for another BookCrosser to pass it to. Check the wish lists, leave a message on the forums, a yahoo group, the BookRelay, or offer it at a meeting...whatever way you choose to pass it on is up to you. If no other BookCrossers want it then send it along its way as a wild release but this should be a last resort.
What are the advantages of Ray it Forward? Time frame – I ask that you pass the book along in a couple months or so, but because there is not a “waiting list” the time is a little more relaxed than a standard BookRay.
Shipping Preferences – Choose your own. If you need to post within your own country then do so. If you choose to send international that is great too. If postal costs are a problem right now then hand it to another BookCrosser at a meeting, ask for postage from the receiver or find some other way to get the book in the hands of another BookCrosser.
***Please note that it would be polite to let the next person know that this is a Ray It Forward book before you pass it along to them so that they will know that they will be expected to pass it on in a couple months.
Enjoy the Book!
