After awaiting this book for... well, for years, I guess, I gobbled it up as soon as it came out. I wanted to pass it along to someone who would appreciate it, rather than letting it sit on my shelf, so I'm mailing it to a classmate from Berkeley High who I reconnected with on a website dedicated to our 20th reunion. I've gotten such food for thought and such a great reconnection with my past through the site, it also made me think of other online communities I've enjoyed... that is, Bookcrossing. My friend may or may not decide to participate and pass the book on, but either way it feels fun to add a BCID to the list again.
