Gratefully received, to be released at the convention in October. Thanks from the convention committee.
Found in my ABC2007 goodie bag - well done, PuppyMummy! Good match for me!
A reflection on Ann Pratchett's childhood friendship. Such an amazing story, I actually had to remind myself continuously that this was autobiographical, and really happened! All that Lucy goes through seems unbelievable most of the time!
The pain, grief, guilt and joy of being close to someone like Lucy. Ann writes it so well.

I found the book on a Park Bench in Devonport when we were having lunch.......I picked it up as I thought someone had left it and was going to put it in a dry place as it was raining and then I saw the stcker and took it home to read.
I loved the book it was a very special story of two friends Anne had the patience of a saint with Lucy and her operations but who can judge if you have never had a health problem or a disability like Lucy's especially in this day and age when looks seem to be so important but Lucy's personality shone.......something to think about.
