My only criticism of this edition is in every introduction to the section the editor mentions part of a poem, that I thought I''d love to read and then found none of which are found in the anthology. Also the title of the collection is misleading as they are not really radical poems but enjoyable none the less.
It was good, most of the poems were great, I especially liked the two by James Fenton. But I feel that space was wasted on a few really silly ones that I doubt would inspire anyone in need of uplifting advice and support. The space might have been filled more effectively with more meaningful pieces.

Picked up at meetup this evening, thank you.
I really need this by my desk at work - seriously!

Yes, I did indeed keep this on my desk at work for while, but sadly didn't get much of a chance to dip into it, which explains why this journal entry is so long in coming. I quite liked the poetry, especially the one by Charlotte Fortune at the start of the book written in text speak, which made me laugh. I confess that the more serious poems didn't grab me so much.

101 Poems to Keep You Sane: Emergency Rations for the Seriously Stressed - Ed. Daisy Goodwin :: I picked this up at the Edinburgh Bookcrossing Meet-up tonight thinking what an elegant volume it looks and wondering where I could take it for release.

Truth to tell I had borrowed this from the library a couple of years ago and it sat and sat and sat till I just had to return it. Best of all I loved the silly poems that brought a swift grin to my face. I kept meaning to get to all the more somber ones, and second time around I seemed to stick with the fun ones again! In particular that text poem caused me to gurgle and grin!

Happy reading and thanks a lot!
I received this from Olagorie when we met at Glenmore. I've other Goodwin poetry collections and enjoy these wee books, so thought I'd browse this too. Some nice poetry.
EDIT
Gee! Guess I forgot to make release notes for this book?! I'd totally forgotten I'd left in in the geocache in the middle of Boblainy Forest! Released: 24/03/11
Good to see it has been picked up and by a geocacher who I think I've met once! ;-) Small world!
