I don't usually read two books at the same time, but I needed a break from Edgar Allan Poe's gloomy Tales of Mystery and Imagination. This was my 50th book read this year--that's pretty awesome when I probably can count on one hand the books I read last year--and there are still two months of 2007 to go!

Back to Latte Trouble. It's the third installment of Cleo Coyle's Coffehouse Mystery series and it is plagued with the irritating typos of the first two books. The plot and characters are still interesting and fresh, though, so I do try to overlook the book's minor flaws. It was the perfect antidote to Poe while still keeping the spirit of the Halloween season alive.

Congratulations--you caught a book!
It may have seemed odd to find this lying around, but rest assured it's not lost and it's not forgotten. Feel free to read it, pass it on to a friend, or release it in the wild like I did. You can even keep it, if you like, but are books really happy when they're just sitting on a shelf? I'd have to say no.

It doesn't cost anything to join; it’s confidential (you are known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address), free, and spam-free.
