I read about 60 pages and I was turned off by the way the author had a political point of view she wanted to weave into the pages, even when it made no sense. Since I have so many books to read I decided to stop and read something else.

This book came highly recommended by someone who's taste is similar to mine. That's why I put it on my wishlist. I can't say I did not like it; in places it is thrilling and entertaining. Still, I found it also a bit too violent and vulgar for my taste. I seem to prefer mysteries and thrillers by European (especially British and Scandinavian) authors to those by Americans.
