"Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task: that of locating and destroying Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes. Never has Harry felt so alone, or faced a future so full of shadows. But Harry must somehow find within himself the strength to complete the task he has been given. He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear or hesitation the inexorable path laid out for him.

In this final, seventh installment of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling unveils in spectactular fashion the answers to the many questions that have been so eagerly awaited. The spellbinding, richly woven narrative, which plunges, twists and turns at a breathtaking pace, confirms the author as a mistress of storytelling, whose books will be read, reread and read again."

The final chapter in the Harry Potter story.
All was going to be decided here, all explained, it was not an easy task to end a tale that has accompanied us all of these years in a satisfying way.
I believe J.K.Rowling did her best. I had said to myself that I was prepared if she killed him, but through out the book I was feeling that it wasn’t fair, that Harry didn’t deserve to die and that she had to find another way to convince everyone that this was really the last book in the series without having to kill Harry. I’m so glad she did... I wasn’t prepared for some of the deaths... but it was inevitable that in the last fight with the greatest evil some of the good guys had to die. Yeah, I cried.
I couldn’t help the feeling that Dumbledore could have made the task easier to Harry, even though we are explained his motives, and what a twist to make us doubt Dumbledore in the last book! As for the books "great mystery" – is Snape good or bad? :) - of course it had to end like that. But I had hoped it to be with a fight, not to be that way and that he had a chance to talk to Harry.
It’s difficult to write a review of a book when you feel somewhat empty inside about it... It’s a dummy thing, but I felt like the characters were real people, I’ve been following their lives for the past 5 years and now they are gone. I was anxious to read the book and wanted to stop at the same time, making it last as long as possible. There will be no more years waiting to know what happens next, there will be no more magic world. I will not return to Hogwarts, there will be no more pints of mead at Madame Rosmerta’s, no more hurt dragons for Hagrid to take care of, no more Quidditch games, meals at The Burrow, giant spiders, Muggles, Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons, no more... I will really miss Harry Potter.
