Found this treasure in the mailbox today! Started reading it as we speak. Very impressed with the bookcrossing labeling...you just can't miss it! Thanks DrSlump612 ;)

Journal Entry 4 by elle311 from Suffolk, Virginia USA on Saturday, September 15, 2007
Liked the book way better than the movie...although I kept picturing Renee Zellweger in the scenes (especially the famous firepole one). Also thought it was funny the author mentioned Hugh Grant and Colin Firth who then went on to star in the movie. Perhaps the author was hinting at who she wanted in case the book was ever made into a movie?

Have to pass this on because of the great labeling done by DrSlump612...

I'm reading this now and will offer as a Bookray so more people can read this book!
:-)

Jan. 12: I finished this book last night. It was great! I adore the Bridget Jones movies and reading the book is different, just a different feeling I guess. Both are great! It reminds me of this book I read last year The Little Lady Agency by: Hester Browne I turned that into a Bookray so if you like Bridget Jones then you might like to read that book also!

Thanks elle311 for the RABCK!

Arrived here today! I'll start reading it as soon as possible!

Journal Entry 11 by marsala from - Ergens in de provincie, Noord-Brabant Netherlands on Tuesday, February 5, 2008
Absolutely brilliant!

I've read this book in dutch a couple of years ago and I liked it, but wasn't as exciting about it as everyone else.
I decided to give the book another go and I'm glad I did. I've lived in London for a year, so some things I could picture more clearly and I had a better understanding to the references to other books or tv-shows.
It had me laughing out loud quite a few times. Some things just sounded too familiar (programming the vcr or hosting a dinner party anyone?)

Thanks Jenny for sharing this book!

I found this in my mailbox last night. I've got one bookring ahead of it, so I'll read it after that.

Journal Entry 17 by katintheboots on Tuesday, March 25, 2008
I finished this in one go yesterday. I can't stand most things involving Renee Zellweger and so avoided the movie and book like the plague until a friend informed me that it's a take-off of Pride and Prejudice. Being a P&P fan of long-standing, I signed up for this. The book arrived fortuitously, as I'd recently had surgery, during which recovery period I watched the BBC/A&E Firth & Ehle version I don't know how many times (I was confined to a recliner for a week - a five hour mini didn't even begin to get me through a day). And, to my own surprise, I really enjoyed this. Enough so that I may even have to go rent the movie just to see Colin Firth in the last couple scenes.

I already have mysticalzoe's address, so I'll get this in the mail after the first of the month.

Journal Entry 18 by katintheboots on Saturday, April 5, 2008
Sent to mysticalzoe this afternoon via media mail.

Journal Entry 28 by imuzak12 from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA on Saturday, July 26, 2008
It was a fun reading. I watched the movie based on this book in the past and liked it. The book was funny and cute in different way, but I liked it too. While the ending of the movie was very hilarious, the ending of the book was dramatic, funny, and romantic! I think I liked the book's ending more than the movie's one.

This book is now, for ray-it-forward. I will find somebody to pass it on.

Journal Entry 29 by imuzak12 from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA on Wednesday, July 30, 2008
I mailed this book today to rebeccaljames as RAY-IT-FORWARD.

Journal Entry 30 by JennyC1230 from Woodstock, Georgia USA on Wednesday, July 30, 2008
This is now a Ray-it-Forward for Bridget Jones’ Diary by: Helen Fielding.

I’ll find the first person that wants this book and send it to them. I just ask that they pass the book along “BookRay” fashion when they are done with it.
If you have this book then please look for another BookCrosser to pass it to. Check the wish lists, leave a message on the forums, a yahoo group, the BookRelay, or offer it at a meeting...whatever way you choose to pass it on is up to you. If no other BookCrossers want it then send it along its way as a wild release but this should be a last resort.
What are the advantages of Ray it Forward? Time frame – I ask that you pass the book along in a couple months or so, but because there is not a “waiting list” the time is a little more relaxed than a standard BookRay.
Shipping Preferences – Choose your own. If you need to post within your own country then do so. If you choose to send international that is great too. If postal costs are a problem right now then hand it to another BookCrosser at a meeting, ask for postage from the receiver or find some other way to get the book in the hands of another BookCrosser.
***Please note that it would be polite to let the next person know that this is a Ray It Forward book before you pass it along to them so that they will know that they will be expected to pass it on in a couple months.

Enjoy the Book!
