If you liked the show you will enjoy the tapes.

From Our Editors
The outrageous comedy continues with this second audio installment centered about everyone's favorite vacation spot, the infamous Torquay Hotel, better known by its fans as Fawlty Towers where Basil Fawlty's unique style of management and mayhem prevails. Four more classic episodes from the original BBC soundtrack starring John Cleese, Prunella Scales, Andrew Sachs and Connie Booth will have listeners howling. From a breakfast of suspicious sausage to a disastrous duck dinner, the brilliant cast serves up a full menu of frenzied humor to keep listeners on the laugh track for 120 minutes! 2 cassettes.

I absolutely LOVED the show! I grew up on Monty Python and Fawlty Towers (which probably explains my sense of humor today, LOL). How incredibly wonderful to see this in the bookbox today! I grabbed them immediately and really look forward to listening to them. Thank you!

Just finished listening to this on the way to work. It was amusing the way it was composed. This was a collection of four episodes (I only remembered watching the first three on tv, I must admit) transferred into audio.

I offered to lend it out and the person (a Fawlty Towers fan like me) refused because there are physical jokes that wouldn't translate well to audio. So I was curious about that fact and quite interested in their solution. Whenever the humor or plot relies on visual aids/jokes they had Manuel's character narrate those portions.

Stories include:
The Kipper and the Corpse- a classic! A guest dies overnight and they don't want to alarm the guests.
The Germans- another classic, and am glad I have seen it so many times that the Hitler impression is easily visualized. LOL
Waldorf Salad- ah, those finiky Americans causing trouble
Gourmet Night- I just feel so sorry for everyone at FT here- why can't things ever go right? LOL!
