Hardcover.

There's a new vampire in town. His name is Valentine Maxwell. Goth-girl Raven knows this latest intruder can only mean trouble - he's the younger sibling of two vampires she fought to drive out of Dullsville. But when her brother, Billy, befriends this dangerous tween night prowler, the stakes are suddenly higher. Though torn by the excitement of every teen girl's fantasy - attending the prom with her boyfriend - Raven must do everything she can to protect Billy.

Valentine's appearance may pose even further threats. Could he somehow know Raven's innermost feelings about becoming immortal for her true love, Alexander?

My 112th read of 2007.

Not as exciting as the previous books, but the story moved quick and kept me reading. I'm glad that the story will be moving back to Hipsterville! I'm looking forward to the next book to see what is going to happen now that Jagger has been located.

I love the cover! I like it when the cover of a book actually matches what's going on in the story. :)

Passing on to a good friend as a surprise. Encouraging one bad habit while she's trying to kick another! Hee hee!
Happy reading!

w00t w00t! Thanks Kel! I love it when I'm opening a package with stuff for someone else and there's a surprise in there for me too. :)

I've already started reading this series myself and have book 2 near the top of Mt. TBR (don't have #3 yet, but I expect it'll come up somewhere shortly, either BM or PBS) so that I can then get to this one.

PS - Did you mom mentioned that we were chatting on Pogo one night?
PPS - Yup, I've been a very good girl and still haven't picked up a cigarette! :)
