Got that from my better half as he noticed how much I enjoy audiobooks on my long car journeys. Never heard of Robert Muchamore and Cherub before, but I really enjoyed the story. The story is very clever and an interesting concept: Streetwise children (mainly orphans) are picked as undercover agent for CHERUB.
The Recruit tells the story of James who ends up in an orphanage after his mother dies. From there he is recruited into cherub to go through the tough basic training...
Sunday Express: Punchy, exciting, glamorous, what's more, you will completely wish it was true... By the time you've read the last page you'll be longing to start on the second installment.

The CDs will travel to Germany as part of the ANGLOPHONE AUDIOBOOKBOX. I am very happy that they will make the de-tour via Schneefee as I am confident she''ll enjoy the story as much as I did.

oh, hoppla, I completely forgot the Journal Entry!

Anyroad - great (audio)book. I always knew there's something like Cherub!! Yeah, and now I also know why I was never asked to become part of the programme when I was 9 or 10 years old: It's simply because - thank God - I still had both of my parents to care for my life as an ordinary kid in an ordinary school! Aha. Well, okay, that's fine. Now I know.

:-D

you see, I really enjoyed this one, and also Julian Rhind-Tutt is a brilliant narrator, easy to understand and absolutely able to convey temper.

Thanx, weesisj, for sharing this one!

Vielen Dank für das Hörbuch! (und entschuldigung für die verspätete Nachricht)
Ich bin doch nicht dazu gekommen, es anzuhören, doch were dies in nähere Zukunft tun. Die Geschichte klingt sehr spannend!

Journal Entry 7 by RikkiDD from Dresden, Sachsen Germany on Sunday, March 23, 2008
As the box arrived I started to listen into the CD. It really sounds interesting but I'm lacking of time and so I stopped and saved it for later.
But I recogniced on thing: The CD's 2 and 3 don't start with track 1. Are there some tracks missing or is only the counting a bit different?
