Unusually for a Leonard novel, the ending & how we were to get there were so telegraphed I couldn't finish it. Wonderfully written, but not his best work at all. To monado for disposal.
It wasn't that bad. The characters were reasonably realistic and the plot moved along.
Unfortunately, the book is a bit water-damaged, perhaps from being in a park. So I'll probably just donate it to the Goodwill thrift store.

The book was in the Goodwill stack in the front porch when I hauled it out and took it to Toronto General Hospital for MsEditor. She can read it and release it.
