Another really gritty Inspector Rebus novel. What a maverick! Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to continuing with this very realistic series. (Although I suppose if we're talking realism here he really should be dead by now!)

Was In Costa Coffee in Nottingham city centre and spotted a bookshelf with an Ian Rankin that I hadn't read. Saw the bookplate and grabbed the idea. I've got some books to drop onto the shelf next time i'm in Nottingham.Great idea - thanks.
