Journal Entry 3 by LyzzyBee from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Monday, July 02, 2007
I was thrilled to find this in my goody bag - I have just started exploring the "cozy mystery" genre and I wonder who on the committee knows that... Look forward to reading this!

Journal Entry 4 by LyzzyBee from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Sunday, October 14, 2007
Another cosy mystery set in the stitching world - I am coming to like these a lot. This one has an interesting and sufficiently twisty plot (hey, I'm new to this - maybe some of it was obvious!) and then the details of stitching and knitting of all kinds to keep the stitcher's interest too. This was the 2nd or 3rd in a series, and I will definitely be on the lookout for the others. Thanks again for such a good choice!

RELEASE NOTES: Posting to my Not So Secret Autumn Surprise partner tomorrow. Hope it arrives in time and that you enjoy it! Two reasons why I sent this to you! a) it was in my Uncon goody bag and we were both at Uncon! b) I see you like stitching and crafts. I don't really like murder mysteries but I do like these stitchy cosy mysteries, as a lot of it is about the stitching! So hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Journal Entry 12 by Heaven-Ali from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Sunday, February 22, 2009
Another enjoyable slice of Betsyism's and the mysteries she manages to get herself involved in. I found there was even more needlework stuff in this one, which I am sure needleworkers love - but which means little to those of us who never even think of picking up a needle. I enjoyed the different setting with this one too, I think I would like a few days at Naniboujou lodge - but I would be sitting by the fire reading - not sewing. Will be sending on soon.

I am a very naughty Book Crosser, and forgot yo journal when arrived. As always this was a great read, I just love this series, I was sure that I had read this one previously, but no matter, as it was a lovely way to spend an hour or two. I have LindyB28's address, so in the post between now and the weekend!

Journal Entry 20 by kitten99 from Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear United Kingdom on Saturday, March 13, 2010
Finally made it to the royal mail depot to pick up a parcel they've been holding for me, and found this! Thanks to Scotsbookie for sending it on, and to Lyzzybee for arranging the spiral which I am really enjoying. Can't wait to start reading this - I might actually ditch the book I'm currently reading and take this one to the hairdressers this afternoon to read instead while I'm waiting!

Journal Entry 22 by WelshHelen from Ponthenri, Wales United Kingdom on Monday, March 29, 2010
I think this is my favourite so far. Even though most of the regulars were hardly in the book, this was well made up for by a new group of characters - some interesting, some irritating, some downright suspicious! Love the idea of a stitch-in in a remote, comfortable lodge, with nothing to do but stitch, knit, eat and sleep... heaven! Anyone want to organise a trip? :-) Another highly recommended read from Monica Ferris. Thanks for sharing, Liz. I'll post on to Calalilly tomorrow.

Journal Entry 26 by Caroley at Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Saturday, August 21, 2010
I knew it wouldn't take me long to read this so I was rather naughty and let it jump to the top of the TBR pile. What can I say - it was calling to me. Like the other books in the series, I really enjoyed it. This one was a bit different, being set outside of Excelsior, but that made a pleasant change. Jill is one of my favourite characters so it was good to see more of her. I enjoyed having more descriptions of the needlework, especially as I've recently got back into cross stitching. Thanks again to Liz for organising this lovely spiral. I'll get this one straight off to Wigglywoods.

Well, lookie what showed up on my coffee table on Superbowl Sunday. Little Miss jazzoasis came by to help us cheer our beloved Green Bay Packers football team on and brought some "mystery" to the festivities. Looking forward to reading another Betsy Devonshire adventure. I do have a couple of bookrings ahead of this one but I should be able to get this read in time.

Journal Entry 35 by imawinn2 at Neenah, Wisconsin USA on Friday, February 18, 2011
Another fun read. This one I thought I had the crook nailed but was surprised. I enjoy these needlework murders but it always makes me want to find a big block of time to sit on my duff and do my own crosstitching. Alas, there are only so many minutes in a day for us working fools. Anyway, I have the book ready for mailing and should be able to send it off tomorrow. Looking forward to the next book.
