Quite funny and biting satire, but a lot of the themes and plot points have been done in Townsends books already.

I haven't read Townsend's books earlier, so I enjoyed this so much! It was witty and funny and sarcastic, very enjoyable! I especially loved the bits about dogs, they were such characters!

I liked the previous Sue Townsend book The Queen and I that I read, hopefully this is as good.

I liked a lot Sue Townsend's book Queen and I. This was too much like it, that I could not really enjoy reading this as much as the other one.
Nicely sarcastic and easy to read.

Thanks, received the book today. For some reason I thought that The Queen and I and this are the same book. Apparently not. Have to check which one I should read first. Anyway this is going to my TBR's for now.
I tried to read the Queen and I, but it didn't really work for me. It was funny, alright, but it also was a bit annoying. So, this sequel is ready to leave my bookself. Thanks!
This seemed an entertaining book to read and I that's why crabbed it. I did not read the previous book, so this is all new for me. Thank you for the book, Bookwormess!
This book is hilarious! I really enjoyed reading it. The talking dogs are very funny - and unrealistic. So what? Maybe Englishmen and -women enjoy the story still more than I. They can see royalty on tv news and imagine the Queen weeding her garden or putting laundry on the clothesline. Hah hah!

I usually prefer books in Finnish. However I have watched Windsors on TV and this book reminded me of the funny series. Thanks! :)
