Got this from a student who had it for summer reading last year. It's my summer reading this year for World History next year....

Wow! I loved this book very very much. I found it very interesting to think about how much salt impacted human life as we know it, and how now we can just buy it for practically nothing! I''d never given salt a second thought (other than thinking about how to eat less), until now.

After I finished, I had to buy some from the grocery store.
