The storyline of this book is intriguing and I enjoyed it. I was a little put off by the abrupt changes from the current setting to the story that was also included that took place over a century before. The changes were mid chapter and from one paragraph to the next, and I had to get used to that to enjoy the book fully.
I have read other books by this author and liked them also.

7 out of 10

I enjoyed this book, although it took a little bit of time to get into it. The chapters are long so one must devote a good amount of time to reading in a sitting.
