The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club: True Tales from a Magnificent and Clumsy Life

There were some stories that made me laugh out loud. I really enjoy Notaro's writing style, though it's hard for me to relate to her personally. She's just very different from me. But I liked her stories. I don't know why, but the story about her and her friends thinking they saw their high school teachers in a Mexican restaurant made me laugh the hardest. I think it's because Notaro did such a fantastic job in that story of showing how her friends reverted back to their childish selves and also showed us how often we don't view teachers as real people - they're teachers. Anyway, that one made me laugh til I almost cried. Or maybe it's because I have a family full of teachers and I couldn't stop imagining this happening to them while they're sitting in a restuarant eating.
