I picked this book up at a book sale because I remembered trying to read the Awakening when I was in college. I knew it was a bit of a chick book, but I figured all those years of lit training might finially help me appreciate the story somehow (it was not a favorite of mine in college, you see). However, after giving it a second try, I've decided there are some books meant for a more female audience, and this just so happens to be one of those books. I hope it finds a new owner who can give it the good home that it deserves.
