The war has ended, but the country faces and new obstacle. Amid a tumult of political enthusiasms, vengence, corruption, embitterment, and exhaustion, the North and South must struggle to unite and move ahead. The Mains and the Hazards must struggle as well- against fear and depair- as they work to restore peace to their families, their homes, and their hearts.

Bought at a library book sale. It's Vol 3 in a trilogy (following North and South & Love and War) and I'd like to read the other two first, but have so much to read before that. So I'm making this available for now.

This is an abridgement on 2 casstte tapes, read by George Grizzard.
