Journal Entry 5 by oi-reader from Toledo, Ohio USA on Saturday, March 15, 2008
The first in a series I have been wanting to read for a very long time. Drinkwater's writing is wonderful! Her tales of purchasing an olive farm in southern France and the adventures that follow are delightful. The local characters she writes of are well rounded and enjoyable, and her descriptive writing makes the reader feel as if they are right there too. am now looking forward to finishing the series.

I was transported to southern France in this beatifully written memior. I loved discovering Apassionista with Carol and Michael, and their adventures in buying the farm, and restoring it's olive groves. Thanks for sharing this oi-reader.

Finished reading this last night. Carol Drinkwater has a talent for detail descriptions that makes the reader feel like they are right there experiencing everything she is. I am looking forward to reading the next two books in this series.
